Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what cookies Develop Credit uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. We use them, along with similar technologies like local storage, to run the site and remember your choices.
2. Cookie Categories We Use
- Required. Necessary for the site to function — keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie preference itself, and powering the on-site chat assistant (including remembering your conversation while you browse). The assistant gives automated, pre-written answers about Develop Credit — it is not a live agent and does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. No chat content is shared with third parties. These cannot be disabled because the site cannot operate without them.
- Functional. Remember preferences and settings to improve your experience. We do not currently set any functional cookies on the marketing site; this category exists for features we may add later.
- Advertising & analytics. Google Tag Manager and any tags configured through it (such as Google Analytics), used to understand site traffic and measure marketing performance. These only load if you allow this category.
3. Managing Your Preferences
You can change your cookie choices at any time from the link below, or from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the site footer. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to browse the site, create an account, or use Develop Credit's core products.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
