Last updated: July 2026
We want to know if something isn't working the way it should — whether that's a billing issue, a question about your credit builder loan account, or a concern about how your information was handled.
1. Contact Us First
Most issues can be resolved quickly by reaching our support team directly:
- Email: support@developbusinesscredit.com
- Include your account email, business name, and a description of the issue.
We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and resolve or provide a substantive response within 30 days.
2. Credit Builder Loan Accounts
If your complaint concerns a credit builder loan account, it may involve our banking partner as the account's originating institution. We will coordinate with our banking partner as needed to investigate and respond. You may also have the right to submit a complaint directly to the originating bank; details will be provided in your loan account documentation.
3. Credit Reporting Disputes
If you believe information furnished to a business credit bureau on your behalf is inaccurate, contact us using the information above so we can investigate with our credit monitoring and reporting service provider. You may also have the right to dispute information directly with the relevant credit bureau.
4. Escalating to a Regulator
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the applicable regulator:
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): consumerfinance.gov/complaint
- Your state Attorney General's consumer protection office.
- Your state's banking or financial regulatory department.
