Your Business, With Its Own Credit History.

We open a commercial account in your business’s name and report the on-time payment to the business credit bureaus, every month.

From $49 a month. No credit check, no personal guarantee, no setup fee, and cancelling takes one step.

Before you buy: Reporting has not started yet. We are completing the furnishing agreements that let us submit tradelines, and your account is queued from the day you join — you will be told the date your first submission goes, and you can cancel at any time before then with no fee.

Develop Credit Builder

A commercial tradeline in your business's name, reported to the business credit bureaus every month. We open the account at a set reported limit and report the on-time payment. That is the entire product.

No credit check, no personal guarantee, no setup fee and no minimum term. It does not touch your working capital — the monthly fee is the whole commitment.

Worth being plain about: reporting is not selective. Pay on time and the on-time payment is what gets reported. Miss one and that is reported too — a tradeline that only ever showed good months would not be worth anything to the lender reading it.

How It Works

01

Choose a reported limit

$5,000, $10,000 or $30,000. Same product at each rung — the only difference is the limit shown on the account. No credit check and no personal guarantee, because we are not lending you anything.

02

Tell us which entity to report

Legal entity name, formation state, EIN and principal business address. The bureaus match on those exactly, which is why we ask for the registered details rather than a trading name. About two minutes, once.

03

We report the on-time payment every month

A commercial tradeline in your business's name, reported on the monthly cycle. Allow up to two months before it appears — the bureaus process on their own schedule and nobody in this category can shorten that.

Why Business Credit Is Its Own Thing

  • Protect your personal credit

Every business expense on a personal card or personal guarantee is a risk to your own score. A real business credit profile lets your business borrow as itself.

  • Unlock financing you can't get otherwise

Vendors, lenders, and leasing companies check business credit before they'll extend terms — a thin or nonexistent file quietly closes doors you don't even see.

  • Look like the business you actually are

A real, documented credit history signals stability to suppliers, landlords, and partners — not just lenders.

Three Files, Not One Score

Business credit is three separate files, each checked by different vendors and lenders. A tradeline reported by Develop Credit goes to all three.

  • Dun & Bradstreet

Home of the PAYDEX score — the one most vendors and suppliers check first.

  • Experian Business

Powers the Intelliscore Plus rating many lenders use for financing decisions.

  • Equifax Business

Tracks payment trends and public records tied to your business's EIN.

Questions People Actually Ask

How much does Develop Credit cost?+

Develop Credit Builder starts at $49/month: $49 for a $5,000 reported limit, $99 for $10,000, or $199 for $30,000. All three together are $312.30/month, 10% off — a rate that applies only when they are bought together, and is not applied retroactively to accounts you already hold. Billing starts the day you subscribe. No free trial, no setup fee, no minimum term, and you can cancel any account on its own with no fee. The Track, Build and Fund monitoring plans are listed at $19, $29 and $49 but are not running yet.

Will checking my business credit hurt my score?+

No. Develop Credit is built around soft-pull checks, which don't affect your credit score the way a hard inquiry from a lender application would.

How is business credit different from my personal credit score?+

Your personal credit score is tied to your Social Security number. Business credit is tied to your business's EIN and its own history — separate from you personally, and visible to vendors and lenders evaluating your business specifically. Worth knowing: early on, plenty of lenders still look at the owner's personal file before a young business has a record of its own, so the two aren't fully independent until your business profile is established.

Do I need an LLC or corporation to use this?+

Having a formal entity (LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, etc.) helps you build a business credit profile that's cleanly separated from your personal credit, but you can create an account regardless of entity type.

What happens after I sign up?+

You will get access to your dashboard straight away. Reporting has not started yet. We are completing the furnishing agreements that let us submit tradelines, and your account is queued from the day you join — you will be told the date your first submission goes, and you can cancel at any time before then with no fee.

Is the reporting selective — do you only report the good months?+

No, and it is worth being plain about. Pay on time and the on-time payment is what gets reported. Miss one and that is reported too. A tradeline that only ever showed good months would be worth nothing to the lender reading it, which is the whole reason a real one is worth having.

In plain terms

What you get

  • A commercial account opened in your business's legal name
  • The on-time payment reported every month it is paid
  • A set reported limit: $5,000, $10,000 or $30,000
  • Cancellation from your billing portal, in one step, at any time

What you never get

  • A credit check, hard or soft, to open it
  • A personal guarantee, or your Social Security number as collateral
  • A request for your bank login or account connection
  • Your details sold, or passed to a lender panel — we take no referral fees

Reporting is not selective. Pay on time and the on-time payment is reported; miss one and that is reported too — a tradeline that only ever showed good months would be worth nothing to the lender reading it.
